1. Who was Aaron before television?
Aaron Frazier was just a normal guy trying to make it in South Central. Just trying to survive, make it through the streets, gang banging, and everything else. Just trying to live like everybody else.
2. What made you go the acting route?
Acting was always a dream for me as a kid. I have older sisters and they have a lot of kids. So by the time I was five years old I was already a uncle you know what I’m saying. At that age I was looking like damn, “We living in the hood what is the outlet for my nieces and nephews?” right now its looks like they going to repeat the cycle of gang banging and everything else so I took it upon myself to be like “Let me try to make something with myself since my older siblings ain’t doing nothing but gang banging let me try to do something positive and have something for my nieces and nephews to look up to.” Let them know there is more to life then gang banging. That was my motivation.
As a kid I didn’t know what to become to make a lot of money I was just like, “hey if I was on TV and became a actor I could make a lot of money.”
3. How did you get booked as Old Weird Harold in Fat Albert?
Okay, that audition was crazy because I actually got booked twice for that movie. I booked it in 2002 by auditioning. I audition for some great casting directors. I had studied that character and tried to portray him the best way I could. They liked it. It was a long process though if you know what I mean. I end up booking it then they ended up canceling the movie because Forest Whitaker and Bill Cosby were having problems.
