IIT-Roorkee’s architecture courses stand out because of their focus on research and innovation

Located in Uttarakhand’s Roorkee city, the department is part of a sprawling 365-acre campus that was established in 1847 as the Thomason College of Civil Engineering. The institution went on to become the seventh IIT in 2001. Befitting its stature as a premier architecture institution, the department’s building stands out due to its well-appointed interiors.
