US President Donald Trump’s protectionist ‘America First’ agenda continues, and this time again on the visa front.
New powers have been accorded to US officials to reject outright the visa applications of foreigners under certain circumstances, starting September 11. Officials can take this step if the required ‘initial evidence’ is not submitted or eligibility for the visa sought isn’t established.
