After a sluggish first quarter, Katahdin took a 12-11 lead in the first couple minutes of the second half. Coach Randy Shepard called a time out to focus us, and we energized, going on a 13-3 run to lead 24-16 at the half. Brienna Limeburner had 5 points, and Kaylee Morey and Brittany Gray each had 4.
We reeled off10 points after a Katahdin 3-point play to stretch our lead to 13, Katahdin made shots to lower the lead to 9, but we were in control by then. After Rylee Eaton and Makayla Lebel scored, Katahdin went to the foul line five times, making only three of them. We tightened up our defense and made all five of our final foul shots with a basket by Kaylee Morey to give us a 15-point lead. Coach Shepard put in the subs for the last minute.
