WITH the January transfer window on the horizon, a clutch of players are jostling for prime position in the shop window but they will have to get their elbows out to dislodge Yeovil’s Otis Khan.
The 22-year-old midfielder only signed a new two-year deal with the League Two club in the summer but, such is his form, he is already eyeing a move up the football pyramid.
His display against League One side Southend in the FA Cup first round last weekend – where he netted the only goal of the game from the penalty spot – caught plenty of attention but it was just the latest chapter in the former Sheffield United player’s best season to date.
Seven goals from his first 20 games means Khan has already matched last season’s tally and, with Yeovil in the bottom half of League Two, he would jump at the chance to move up the ladder.
