TOM Trybull celebrated his newcontract by firing Norwich tovictory over Middlesbrough, who were left fuming by referee Michael Jones’ decision to send off Rudy Gestede.
It was announced five minutes before kick-off that German midfielder Trybull had penned a new three-and-a-half-year deal and the 24year-old’s magnificent volley settled matters soon after Gestede had been shown a straight red card for challenging Grant Hanley.
Canaries chief Daniel Farke was delighted with Trybull’s match-winning contribution before he came off injured.
“I think it was a brilliant day for Tom and the club as well,” said Farke.
“Sometimes this happens in football and we are really pleased that he’s signed a long-term contract and we were able to announce it, and it gave us a bit of extra motivation and energy before the game.
“I think it’s important that the midfield players and even the holding midfield players score and thank god he scored for us.
