Simeon Cobourne’s extra-time goal was enough to see the BetVictor Southern Division One Central minnows secure their first-ever semi-final appearance after Luke Yates’ equalising flick header five minutes before the end of normal time set up the added half-hour.

“I thought the players were brilliant, a fantastic performance from 1 to 18, they really are a pleasure to manage,” Smith beamed.

“Most Step 4 clubs wouldn’t come back from being1-0 down at a club like Barnet, we were fantastic and thoroughly deserved the win. I am so proud of these players.”
