THE UK’s oldest tennis player is still serving up aces at the age of 100.

Basil Smith discovered his love of the sport when he began hitting a ball off the wall of his parents’ house 92 years ago.

The self-taught amateur still plays three times a week at Swansea Tennis Club and beats people half his age.

His powerful aces, skillful drop-shots, and deft backhands baffle his rivals.
