Family's Plea As Dogs Stolen From Home

One pet still missing after fence dismantled in a raid

The distraught owner of two golden cocker spaniels who were stolen has appealed for witnesses as one of them is still missing.

Females Topsy and Turvy were snatched from their home in Kilternan, South Dublin, between July 4 and 5.

Heartless thugs dismantled a fence to the enclosed space the pooches were kept in at night.

While gardai have recovered Turvy, Topsy is still nowhere to be found.

The owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: “Topsy and Turvy seem to have been separated soon after their disappearance, which will have been particularly distressing for them.

“It is very difficult as they are much-loved family members. We were very happy to get Turvy back but she in particular misses her sister terribly.
