Fair City’s Maclean Burke revealed he has had fans come up and thank him for shedding light on domestic abuse towards men in the soap.
The star arrived in Carrigstown as Damien Halpin 24 years ago, and has been involved in many of the show’s most prominent storylines to date.
They include his parents’ murder-suicide and his ex-wife Suzanne’s abusive behaviour.
