It was The One Where They Said They Were Never Going To Get Back Together For Real.

I mean, 20 years ago I looked forward to watching Friends just as much as the next man who was forcing himself to watch it because everyone else was watching it.

But I think we can all agree it was very much of its time. I have no need, nor any real desire, to see how things are working out for them all now.

I’d rather watch sitcoms which are very much of our time, thanks. Which brings me on to BBC2’s Motherland.

We’re three series into this tale of West London yummy mummies and it just keeps getting funnier and funnier.
