DUBLIN butchers James and Stephen Kenny hadn't a clue they were TikTok stars in the Far East - until Chinese girls mobbed their shop looking for photos.
Video clips of the brothers working at The Brown Pig Butchers have now been watched more than 30million times in China - where it seems people can't get enough of them.
Stephen said: "I've had groups of Chinese women taking the bus out here from town to see us and take pictures of the butchers and have a look.
“They come in saying: 'you are all over the place in China - we see you and your brother on the videos."
The brothers'unlikely path to stardom began when their friend Andy Zhang who owns Tani Japanese restaurant, across the road from the Terenure butchers – started posting funny videos about Ireland when he was bored during lockdown. Within a few months, he'd amassed almost 750,000 followers on TikTok and Kwai - its popular rival app in China.
