The Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Prakash Javadekar, said on Saturday that the life of people would go back to normal after Lockdown 4, but everybody will have to take extra precautions to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.
“It is necessary, at this time, that people appreciate and compliment the decisions taken by state governments and local administrations,” Javadekar said during e-Agenda AajTak. He said that the death rate in our country, compared to other virus-hit countries, is much lesser and would be reduced further in the later stages of the pandemic.
The comments came as the Ministry of Home Affairs issued new guidelines for the 5th phase of lockdown which will begin from Monday (June 1). According to the guidelines, all activities outside containment zones will be resume, but in a phased manner. The guidelines will be effective till June 30.
“Since every student does not have computer or smart phones, we have started 32 educational channels on TV. 12 channels are dedicated to address students of Class 1 to 12… I’ve talked to prominent people of film and TV, and shootings will start soon in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, under the new guidelines.”
