“Aam Aadmi Party fully supports the Bharat Bandh call made by farmers on December 8. AAP workers across the country will support it peacefully. I appeal to all countrymen that everyone should support the farmers and participate in this,” Kejriwal tweeted in Hindi.
AAP Delhi convener Gopal Rai also said that Kejriwal had extended full support to the bandh and that in all the states and districts, AAP functionaries and volunteers would stand in support of the farmers and the bandh.
“I want to appeal to all that this fight is not just by farmers, this is the nation’s fight. Our India is an agrarian country, and if we disappoint the farmers, India will not be able to develop. I request you all to comply with the strike on December 8,” he said.
