If you were to look back and think of the best part of childhood, playing with your friends and running around in the evenings on the swings in the park would surely top the list. But with the lockdown restrictions, kids are forced to stay indoors all day, and this can become tiresome for your active bundles of energy.
Many working parents have been instructed to work from home, and are now dealing with the new normal of having to work while parenting full-time. So the question arises, how do you keep your li’l ones entertained and engaged, while you juggle team video conference calls and collaborate on team decks, remotely? What happens to snack time, play-time and me-time? In the absence of elders, crèche, nannies or full-time help, managing work from-home with infants around can be both overwhelming and challenging at times. The lockdown and work from home have prompted many young parents to navigate mobile apps and set up a routine for their need for childcare and development, nutrition, diet, and engagement activities.
The biggest challenge is limiting screen time for young children. There are multiple solutions available on the net, but little to no credibility. To top it all off, you’re also trying to ensure your tot is in top shape, and are constantly looking up what foods will ensure this. But your bigeest worry would probably be keeping them engaged with the various activity, that is not only fun but will ensure their holistic development.
