Back then, I didn’t know that being an influencer was a career, it was something that started out of passion. I quit my job when I conceived Diyara. It was a difficult decision, but one that I will never regret. Every child brings their own fortune in your life, and that’s tru because since I’ve become a mum, I’ve had only good things happen to me. I’ve worked with over 700 brands, worked with television and film starts, and featured in a number of leading publications. So my JOURNEY has been incredible.
I have so much support from my husband and family, and that really makes this career worthwhile. Of course, there’s both PROS AND CONS to the job. Sometimes, I have to miss opportunities and associations, especially involving travel, because my kids need me. But nothing takes precedence over them. Sometimes it gets exhausting to keep up with social media while also taking care of the kids. Nonetheless, it keeps me cantered in my role as a mom influencer and parent.
