GIANT pike of 32 lb 8 oz and 31 lb have given anglers a late-season reminder of the predator potential of rivers.
Gardner Tackle-backed Sam Meeuwissen had the biggest fish from a stretch of the River Thames using float-legered sardine. The 41-year-old from Twyford, Berkshire, smashed his old PB of 27 lb 10 oz, thanks to some help from his friend Mark Casper who has been heavily prebaiting the area.
