Katie Archibald has set her sights on a second omnium world title after being crowned European champion in the event as she picked up three golds at the European Championships.
Archibald was the elder stateswoman of a young British squad that competed at the championships in Grenchen, Switzerland, last week and came away with five medals. Three of those medals were gold and all of those involved Archibald.
She started the Euros last week by winning the scratch race and then wrapped up a dominant omnium victory in which she won all four races. After that she came through a diffiult Madison, in which partner Neah Evans suffered a crash, to take her third gold.
