That amounts to 237 minutes on the pitch, and in that time he’s scored five goals and provided one assist. To say that’s an impressive start to his Celtic career is an understatement, and the Swiss internationalist is delighted with the way he has settled into life at Celtic, both on and off the park.
He netted his fifth Premiership goal in Sunday’s impressive 3-0 victory over Hibernian, but an injury he picked up in scoring that goal means that he is likely to be out of action for a couple of weeks.
It’s a blow for the 23-year-old, who has been working hard to get fully up to speed with his new team-mates, having missed a portion of pre-season which began for the rest of Neil Lennon’s squad back in June.
But Ajeti is confident that, when he is fully fit, the fans will see even more from him, which augurs well, given his impressive return to date.
The Celtic View caught up with the Scottish Premiership’s top goalscorer this week, and he explained how much he’s enjoying life at his new club following a difficult season in England.
