Celtic's young star reflects on a whirlwind few months at Paradise, and looks forward to the rest of his debut campaign

JEREMIE FRIMPONG ON...

OH my days!... What a start Jeremie Frimpong has had to life at Paradise since putting pen to paper on a four-year deal in September last year. Signed from Manchester City on transfer deadline day, the energetic full-back has since wowed with a flurry of goals, assists and Man of the Match awards, all of which has earned him a deserved place in Neil Lennon’s starting XI.

With the young Dutchman showing little sign of slowing down, the Celtic View caught up with the 19-year-old to talk about his time so far in green and white, and his targets in the second half of his debut season in Glasgow.

ON HIS CELTIC MOVE

I knew Celtic were a big team, and they’re known for playing young players and bringing young players on. Celtic also are always involved in European football, in the Champions League and the Europa League. I thought I'd love to give it a try, and now, what, four-five months on, it was the best decision of my life so far. Everyone can see it, and I think things are going perfectly at the moment. I wouldn’t say I’ve had it easy, I’ve had to put in the hard work to get here, and that’s never going to stop.
