THE LAST WORD WITH PAUL CUDDIHY

I TOOK advantage of the football-free weekend to enjoy an afternoon of fresh air by climbing Conic Hill at Balmaha.

The sun wasn’t quite shining on us as we walked up the hill, but the rain stayed off and it was a great way to spend a couple of hours.

The views, when we reached the top of the hill, were stunning, even if it was more than a little windy!

And as a fan of the ‘Pano’ camera feature on my phone, I managed to get this great picture (above) from the summit with these three belters!

FOOTBALL, of course, has rightly shut down as the world battles the coronavirus pandemic. Having spent last week preparing for the Glasgow derby on Sunday, it was disappointing that the game was postponed, but it was obviously the right decision.

These are unprecedented times, and the number one priority for everyone is to ensure the safety of themselves and their loved ones. That will continue to be the case in the weeks and months ahead.

I think it’s also important at any time, but particularly now, to be considerate towards other people.
