New Scholars Step Up

The latest batch of Everton Academy youngsters have graduated as scholars and linked up with the Club’s Under-18s.

The 12 boys have been registered at the Academy since ages varying between six and 16, and will now work permanently at the Blues' USM Finch Farm training ground.

With the scholars having been in school until recently they were only able to train weekday afternoons and evenings, but it is now their full-time job to play for Everton. Congratulations to all the lads.

Here’s a guide to who they are… Ethan Warnock (Defender): A ball-playing left-back,

Belfast-born Warnock has represented his country at Under-15 level.

Anthony Gordon (Midfielder): An attacking midfielder who includes dribbling and finishing among his strengths, Gordon has represented England at Under-15 level.
