I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and may I take the opportunity to wish you a winnerful 2018! Looking at all the as-yet unraced horses here in Newmarket I am sure we are all in for more than a few winners during the coming year.
FAYLAQ is a juvenile by Dubawi out of Danedream that Sheikh Hamdan has sent trainer William Haggas to train at his Somerville Lodge yard. This colt has taken his early education very well and I like the look of him very much.
There is always an exodus by our HQ trainers this month as they go off on their winter holidays. Sir Michael Stoute is never in Newmarket during January and John Gosden likes to take the family away skiing. George Scott is taking his new wife Polly away on a proper honeymoon.
