PSG's Another Major Coup

It was a fitting end to the transfer window, as the French league heavyweight, Paris Saint-Ger-main, secured its prime target, Kylian Mbappe, on a season-long loan, while the Spurs managed to rope in Serge Aurier and Fernando Llorente, and the explosive midfielder, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, made a huge switch to Liverpool.

Paris Saint-Germain flexed its financial muscle yet again to sign teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe on a season-long loan, with the option of buying him at the end of the season.

When the option is exercised at the end of the 2017-18 season, PSG will acquire the 18-year-old forward on a four-year contract for a staggering fee of €180 million, which will make him the world’s second most expensive player after Neymar, who joined PSG from Barcelona for a jaw-dropping €222 million.

The Frenchman joins an already star-studded PSG attack and will look to replicate his Monaco success, as PSG remains the favourite to top Ligue 1.
