The ongoing COVID-19 has taught us to take care of ourselves in the best possible way. Dehydration is the sole cause of many health problems including the ongoing COVID-19, which is vulnerable enough to make us sick.

The scorching heat in summers is solely capable to make us dehydrated if our diet and fluid intake are not monitored correctly. In such a scenario we need to take our foods properly without any sought of hesitation. Any negligent behaviour will land us in dehydration, making our body lose more fluid, thus worsening the condition at last.

Causes of Dehydration

Dehydration is caused when you lack drinking water or lose access to safe water. Drinking water and consumption of hydrating foods is as important as doing exercises to make yourself fit. As consumption of water is very necessary for our body, we should also keep a tap on safe and clean drinking water consumption. Impure water is unfit for consumption and has the right potential to make you sick amid soaring cases in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Here are some of the causes of dehydration that should be considered at the earliest.

Diarrhoea or vomiting – Diarrhea or vomiting tremendously lose water from your body. Both are considered an active symptom for the ongoing pandemic and has a greater chance to make you sick. Vomiting along with diarrhoea loses more fluids and minerals from your body, which should be prevented by taking the required hydrating foods.
