Now I’m jetting off for some summer sun!
By Carol Hose, 63, Rushden
Taking off my coat and shoes, I called out to my 29-year-old daughter who lives with me, ‘Pop the kettle on!’
I owned a little cleaning company, and was on my feet most of the day, so when I got home, I’d flop on the sofa with the TV and spend a cosy night in watching the soaps.
And I’d sometimes play a few games on Chat Mag Bingo.
I’d gone to my local bingo hall when I was younger but, over time, it had become quieter.
Everyone seemed to be trying online bingo. Friends raved about it.
Let’s see what the fuss is about, I thought several years ago.
And I loved it!
I enjoyed playing 75 and 90-ball bingo games, and the slots were fun. Plus you could try demo games for free first, to see if you liked it.
I have two younger sisters and two younger brothers, and we’re close – we all live just a stone’s throw from each other.
