High court ruling is met with mixed reactions.
ON Thursday, 19 October, the Johannesburg High Court ruled that spanking your child is no longer in line with the Constitution. The ruling was made in light of an existing case of a man who brutally abused his 13-year-old son and his wife after discovering porn on his son’s tablet. The boy was left with bruises on his legs.
