Taking Care Of A Sick Child
HAVING a sick child can be frustrating and upsetting, especially when you see that your child is in pain and uncomfortable. According to Lynne Bluff, who is a registered nurse, midwife and childbirth educator at Huggies, there are signs that you can look out for to see if your child is sick. Lynne says, “If your baby is active when awake, feeding well and can be comforted when crying, then things are normal. However, if your baby becomes lethargic (weak) and irritable, it may be time to see a doctor. Lethargy or irritability may be signs that an illness is present.”

Lynne and Nthabiseng Leso, a senior brand manager at Huggies, give you tips on how to take care of your sick child and help them recover.

GIVE THEM LOTS OF LOVE

The best way to soothe your sick baby is to give her lots of love and attention. Being there for your baby gives them comfort and assurance.
