Loliwe hitmaker is once again making headlines not for her music, but for allegedly not paying for her house
DESPITE efforts by Bulelwa ‘Zahara’ Mkutukana to inspire people through her music, she still manages to make headline for all the wrong reasons. Her personal life and financial status have been of public interest since she stepped into the spotlight.
IT’S HER HOUSE
Recent reports by a Sunday newspaper claim that the muso is at risk of losing her beautiful house. The report alleges that Zahara is in arrears of more than R1,7-million on her bond repayments and she could lose her home if the arrears are not cleared up.
The house is said to have been bought for R1,9- million in 2012 and monthly instalments were just under R18 000. The report alleged that she also owed R200 000 in municipal services.
