Business operations manager, personal trainer and mother-of-three, Bianca Ballinger shares her top five tips on how to push yourself past your fears to juggle home/work/life balance and achieve your best health and fitness results.
A fear is an idea or thought (it can be a mental, physical, financial, circumstantial or even an irrational one) causing you to make excuses. It will talk your way out of achieving your best transformation before you even get started but, given the right amount of positive mindset combined with perseverance in your actions, you will face your fears to achieve your best results! If there is one thing I have learnt from being a mum to three kids, it’s that there truly is a superwoman in all of us - and She needs time to herself, yes, but She also needs to see just how incredible she is by challenging herself.
Identify your main excuse:
Excuses are responsible for many of our shortfalls and we can easily think of them when we feel overwhelmed or like we are failing somewhere and need a reason not to rise to our responsibilities. The only way you are going to rise above your excuses is by being bigger than them! Eg:
I don’t like hot/cold mornings? Then dress in layers you can wrap around your waist! Yay!
I have small children? Awesome! Get them involved so they can watch you lead by positive and strong example!
