One of the nicest presenters on TV and radio, Rylan Clark-Neal has not stopped working for the past few years, popping up on shows such as Supermarket Sweep, Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two and, of course, his popular BBC Radio 2 show.
But with the coronavirus pandemic sending the country into several national lockdowns, the 32-year-old has finally been able to spend more quality time with his husband Dan, 41, at their home in Essex – something that’s a welcome change for Rylan.
Here, the TV star opens up about life chez Clark-Neal…
Hi Rylan! How has life in lockdown been for you?
Lockdown has made me very thankful. I took some things for granted before. I didn’t have the time off[back then] to take it all in, as I was always so busy, so having some time off[over the last year] has been nice. I feel very grateful. I am doing Radio 2 from a studio I’ve set up at my home. It does feel a bit strange presenting it sat in my pants, though!
Has it been lovely to be able to spend more time with Dan?
