Footage of them all laughing and playing on a beach before toasting marshmallows around a campfire gave us a glimpse of how idyllic the children’s upbringing seems to be.

And who could forget the heart-warming interaction between Prince George and his parents as they watched the European Cup final together this summer?

But, as the Duchess of Cambridge ticks off the last few weeks before she turns 40, friends of the couple say they have still not ruled out baby number four.

Rumours have been circulating for some time that Kate and William may once again welcome the pitter-patter of tiny feet sometime soon.

Ever since she returned from the summer break, Kate’s clothes, words and demeanour have been put under the microscope for clues she might be pregnant. As ever, the Palace has refused to make any comment on the gossip circulating on social media.
