With just weeks before their reunion, the duchess is feeling apprehensive

The Duchess of Cambridge is on a two-week countdown to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – and while the rest of Great Britain is already in celebration mode, Kate’s not quite so excited.

Sources say the 40-year-old’s “heart sank” when her brother and sister-in-law, Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, revealed last week, in a somewhat snippy statement, that they will be attending the event with their children.

Just 18 minutes before their announcement, the Queen, 96, had declared that only working members of the royal family would appear on the balcony for the RAF flypast, meaning the Sussexes, who quit the monarchy in 2020, are out.
