Why having a fourth child means so much to the dazzling duchess

It's official - the Duchess of Cambridge has babies on the brain! After spending the past year hinting that she's trying to convince her hubby Prince William to have a fourth child, insiders say the couple has finally "found time to sit down and discuss this seriously" during a relaxing family getaway.

"Kate has been patiently dropping hints to William ever since little Prince Louis' third birthday," a royal insider reveals, speaking exclusively to Woman's Day.

"They always said they'd have three children, but Kate soon realised she dearly wants at least one more. For Wills, it wasn't a hard no, but it wasn't a yes either - he wanted to get the family through a huge time of upheaval.

"With the pandemic, losing Prince Philip, the Queen's recent health troubles and Prince Harry's departure, for him, there simply wasn't space in his head to think about adding to the family. But now he's indicated he's happy to consider it." Wills, 39, and Kate, 40, are believed to have decamped from Kensington Palace to the French ski resort of Courchevel while their children Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Louis, who turns four next week, are on Easter holidays.
