Indian festivals are known for its hustle and bustle. Deepavali is a four to five-day-long festival of lights celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists. It symbolises the victory of light over darkness. It is only when one is not in ones own country, the person starts longing to go to his home city. This was the time when I was working in my office and I always used to combine one or two casual leaves to be at home during the day of Deepavali.
