Adapting due to becoming older is hard and takes quite a bit of getting used to. I am still young and healthy thirty, well I am in my head at least.
Unfortunately, my body is telling me daily that I am now an old person, and should respect myself and take it easy. My thirty-year-old person says get on with it! I am afraid if I do go ahead at a rate of knots and work in the garden for more than half an hour at a time I will have to pay a price health-wise for a while.
It is not all doom and gloom however and this re-wilding lark has its upside; I have only had this garden since November 2021, so everything is still new and continuing to surprise me. One of the main delights from 2023 was discovering plants, that I previously acknowledged as weeds, being of such great use.
