That’s how I would like to remember Ubud, a town known for rainforests and terraced rice paddies, dotted with Hindu temples and shrines, and of course, some of Bali’s most famous landscapes. Australian architect Peter Muller had a dream and it involved capturing this beauty and preserving it within a seven-and-a-half-acre expanse. And who could blame him? Anyone who has visited Bali can testify to the fact that the island grows on you like a tan that you’ll never lose.
