Euler Motors has graduated beyond its three-wheeler cargo carriers. The Badarpur-based OEM has materialised its plans to foray into the SCV-pickup segment with the Euler Storm EV range. The Storm EV Long Range (LR) 200 is designed for intercity applications while the Storm EV T1250 is aimed at intracity operations. The two offer a rated payload capacity of 1.25-tonne (1,250 Kg). The challenger brand has strengthened its proposition with advanced inclusions like the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) along with eleven other industry-first features for the SCV-pickup segment (more than two-tonne and less than 3.5-tonne). "We are excited to enter the four-wheeler SCV-pickup segment with these EVs that will enhance customer earnings every day, and allow them to extend their operations into the intercity segment, a sector that previously lacked an EV product," stated Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors. The Storm EV Long Range 200 is priced at Rs 12.99 Lakh (Ex-showroom), while the Storm EV T1250 is priced at Rs 8.99 Lakh (Ex-showroom). The company provides an extended warranty of seven years or two lakh kilometres.
STORM EV LONGRANGE (LR) 200
The Storm LR 200 is claimed to offer a real-world range of 200 Km, making it suited to intercity operations. This vehicle is claimed to offer a real-world range of 200 km, facilitating cargo transport between nearby cities, such as Delhi to Jaipur or Chennai to Vellore. It features CCS fast charging compliance, which opens up access to highway charging infrastructure. The vehicle can deliver a 100 km range within just 15 minutes of charging as per company claims. Additionally, the vehicle has a cargo deck length of 10 ft. and a volumetric capacity of 330 cubic feet, complemented by an eight-leaf spring construction of the rear suspension is expected to offer a smoother transport experience for different cargo types.
