PBM DUCATI PANIGALE V4R

It's won the title more than any other manufacturer, with 13 championships since the series began in 1988, two more than closest rival Yamaha, so it's perhaps no surprise that it's a Bologna machine that took the title in 2023 - this time the Beermonster-sponsored Paul Bird Motorsport Panigale V4R ridden by Tommy Bridewell.

We spoke to John Mowatt, the team co-ordinator at PBM, and he gave us the rundown on the bike.

Full factory 2023 Ducati Panigale V4R- the same basic machine as the factory world superbike ridden by Alvaro Bautista, but with Motec BSB control electronics instead of the WSBK Magneti Marelli ECU. "We went to the factory at the beginning of 2023 and built the bikes in the factory," said John Mowatt.
