Testing Vredestein's new Pinza AT all-terrain tyres the right way

It's an open secret that tyres are an important factor in not just how a vehicle behaves on the road but also the comfort and safety it affords. While highway terrain (HT) tyres offer the best on-road performance and mud terrain (MT) tyres offer good grip in off-road sections, all terrain (AT) tyres promise to offer the best of both worlds making them suitable for 4X4 SUVs and expedition vehicles. Vredestein launched its Pinza AT tyres in India and invited us to try them out but let's talk about these tyres first.

Directed towards premium SUVs, the Pinza AT tyres have been on sale in global markets for quite a while now and Vredestein claims that these tyres have been extensively tested across the globe and in various weather conditions. The good news is that the Pinza AT tyres will be manufactured in India at Apollo Tyres' manufacturing facility in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh. This should make the tyres more accessible in terms of sizes (17, 18 and 20-inch available with 16-inch tyres coming soon) and have competitive pricing.
