It embodies the essence of simplicity yet captivates with its depth, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of Maharashtra. From its heartfelt storytelling to its soul-stirring performances, it celebrates the nuances of everyday life, making it relatable and endearing to viewers across the globe. The recently held RR Kabel Filmfare Awards Marathi offered me a sampler of the best of Marathi cinema from last year. I was bowled over by the content, to say the least. Some films stood out in memory and later proved to be award winners.

Aatmapamphlet intricately delves into the significant moments of Ashish's life, a young man from the Dalit community in 1980s and 1990s Maharashtra, who embarks on a forbidden love journey with a classmate from the Brahmin community.
