SOFTWARE sultan Bill Gates is tangled in a new sleazy sex scandal involving job candidates at his venture capital firm, who claim they were forced to answer a battery of pervy questions — including their porn habits, whether they kept naked pictures on their cell phone and even if they had “danced for dollars!”
Concentric Advisors, the security firm that ran interviews for Seattle-based Gates Ventures, even went so far as to scare some job candidates by telling them a former CIA intelligence officer would be poking into their sexual histories and personal information.
The firm claims the extraordinary battery of questions was intended to find out if a job candidate could be a victim of potential blackmail, and insists none of the inquiries are a violation of federal laws preventing companies from asking about applicants’ gender, race or religion.
