Lucky to be alive after pals pulled her from cat's jaws

AVID mountain biker Keri McCorkle was peacefully pedaling through the wilds when she was ambushed by a kill-crazy cougar that sank razor-sharp teeth into her jaw and savaged her face for a terrifying 15 minutes before her four friends were able to pull the animal off.

Now 60-year-old cyclist Keri is recovering, but has permanent nerve damage after emergency emergency surgery. Washington park rangers tracked down the vicious beast and shot it dead.

Keri's daughters Kendal, a pilot, and Alexa, a baker, say while their mom is the "sweetest, kindest, humblest person," she's also a "badass lady" and a "pillar in the local women's biking community."
