After ex Taylor Swift seemingly took aim at Joe Alwyn on her new album, the actor sets the record straight!

From the moment Taylor Swift's latest album - The Tortured Poets Department - dropped on April 19, Swifties began poring over the lyrics, trying to figure out who and what the 17 tracks are about.

Many have publicly pontificated that some verses regarding heartbreak and leaving London reference Taylor's six-and-a-half-year relationship with English actor Joe Alwyn, which ended in 2023.

Speculation got so intense that the normally private Joe, 33, spoke out about it on June 15. "What is unusual and abnormal in this situation is that...[the relationship is] suddenly in the public domain, and the outside world is able to weigh in," the Kinds of Kindness star told The Sunday Times when asked if he'd listened to Taylor's new work, specifically denying he'd ever been to the Black Dog pub mentioned in one song.
