TV ICON Tom Selleck isn’t ready to turn in his shield as Blue Bloods’ top cop after the popular crime drama was canceled by CBS despite being a ratings juggernaut, say sources.

The 79-year-old actor’s ego was battered when he and the show were kicked to the curb, but Tom’s pulling out all the stops to prove network execs made a big mistake, sources add. 

Besides his wounded pride, insiders tell The National ENQUIRER that losing his $200,000-an-episode paycheck may create a severe cash crisis that could cost him his beloved California avocado ranch AND his 36-year marriage to wife Jillie Mack!

“One of the beauties of his marriage to Jillie is that they’ve had time apart that makes their time together all the sweeter,” confides a friend. “I don’t think Jillie wants Tom around 24/7 any more than he wants that.
