TOURIST FINDS $28K SOUVENIR!

DIAMONDS are a tourist’s best friend — especially when a traveler stumbles across a 7.46-carat sparkler hiding in plain sight!

That’s exactly what happened to lucky Frenchman Julien Navas, who turned prospector during a visit to Arkansas’ Crater of Diamonds State Park. 

Navas rented a diamond-hunting kit from the park on Jan. 11, but after a few hours of “back-breaking work,” he decided to stop digging and only look for gems lying on the surface of the 37.5-acre preserve.

Amazingly, he spotted a deep chocolate-colored diamond, rounded like a marble and about the size of a candy gumdrop.
