Luca Bish’s big sister Claudia on those “fish flops”, what she really thinks of Gemma and why she can’t wait for him to show off his secret talent

F ishmonger Luca Bish has made quite the splash on this year’s Love Island. The 23-year-old from Brighton was initially coupled up with Paige Thorne, but soon made a beeline for Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma. And the pair have been getting to know each other ever since.

One person who approves of the coupling is Luca’s big sister Claudia, a social media CEO who is manning his Instagram and Twitter accounts while he’s in Majorca. “They are a really lovely match and I’m excited to watch them evolve,” she says. “According to the stars, they are made for each other!”

All seemed to be going swimmingly for Luca and 19- year-old Gemma until bombshell Danica Taylor surprised everyone by choosing to recouple with him last week. Claudia describes Danica’s move as “bold” but says it’s been good for the drama! “It’s shaken it up a little, which is fun.”
