'I'm sure I'll get into some sort of trouble'

A fresh batch of celebrities gear up for the challenge as jungle fever strikes again

We knew that Olivia Attwood’s time in the jungle would eventually come thanks to the impact she made in the Love Island villa in 2017.

And after being spotted arriving in Brisbane last week, it looks as if this series is the one in which we’ll see her swap her glamorous life for a muggy camp and rations of rice and beans – not to mention a fetching jungle uniform!

Liv has clearly had her eyes on this adventure for some time, and she spoke to new in June about her hopes of taking part.

At the time Olivia, 31, said, “Out of all those big shows, I think the jungle would be the top one for me – but only if it’s in Australia, definitely not Wales. Me and the cold are not a very good mix.

“I grew up watching the show and it was my absolute favourite. I did I’m A Celebrity Extra Camp a couple of years ago and got a little taste for it. I thought, I reckon I could definitely do this.”

On her arrival, in true Olivia style, she predicted she’d be getting into trouble. “I am scared of me, in terms of how long the other campmates can tolerate me. I will get myself in trouble somehow… the usual,” Liv told reporters at the airport. “I haven’t packed very many bikinis. We are not allowed very many.”

Olivia revealed her family had played a big part in encouraging her to take on the challenge.
