'It's been a busy year - I'm looking forward to doing nothing'

Crafting queen Stacey Solomon on her excitement at sharing festive tips and looking forward to some family time this Christmas

If there's one celebrity who loves Christmas, it's Stacey Solomon. Every year, the bubbly Loose Women star goes all-out as she transforms her home into a winter wonderland - from extravagant front door displays and a homemade Santa's grotto to matching pyjama sets for the entire family.

According to hubby Joe Swash, Stace, 33, always has a different "vision" for the festive season - and this year is no different.

She is on a mission to spread some homemade cheer via her new BBC show, Stacey Solomon's Crafty Christmas, sharing clever ways to cut costs and upcycle over the festive season, with tips including DIY crackers, garlands and gifts.

"Anyone who knows me knows how much I love crafting, and there's no better feeling than giving someone the perfect gift," Stacey said. "DIY gifts mean so much more, and they save a bit of money, too." Stacey, who shares children Rose, one, and Rex, three, with Joe, 40, and is also mum to Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships, has created decorations this year that include giant Christmas baubles and paper snowflakes.
