When OK! picks up the phone to Jeff Brazier on a Monday morning, he says heâs still on a high after celebrating his son Bobbyâs 21st birthday the day before.
âIâm so grateful for the wonderful people we have around us,â he says of the celebration in his Essex home. But unlike most birthday bashes, there was not a drop of alcohol in the house â as his son Bobby doesnât drink.
It sounds like TV presenter and life coach Jeff, 45, has done a fantastic job inspiring healthy habits in his family; not only Strictly runner-up Bobby and Freddie, 19, his children with Jade Goody, but also his wife, PR director Kate Dwyer, 34.
Jeff, who is a brand ambassador for supplement brand Revive Active, takes his physical and mental health seriously. Heâs always had a keen interest in self-improvement and tells OK!, âWhat Iâm doing is healing. I donât want to carry things from my childhood through my life and I donât want to be holding on to things that make me less of a father and less of a husband.
âUnless you do that work to heal the inner child and work out why you avoid a lot of core emotions, life would be a product of my trauma â and Iâm keen to make sure my life is not. But it requires a lot of time and effort to unravel it, unpick it and let it go.â
Here, Jeff shares his health and fitness tips, tells us what he thinks about Bobby embracing showbiz life and reveals the secret to his and Kateâs youthful glowâŠ
Hi, Jeff. Who are the go-to people in your life when you are in need of support?
My wife is a great listener. She just allows me to sound off. We donât always need people around us to give us the answers â usually we have the answers, but we just need to access them. So if youâve got someone whoâs willing to listen youâll probably feel better just by being heard. And Kate does a wonderful job at that.
